Samuel Hole Fencing

About Us

Samuel Hole Fencing was established in 2007. It has grown from just Sam, with a very old tractor and post knocker, completing jobs in between milking on his family farm to the sizable firm it is today.

Farming is in Sam’s blood, he grew up on a large mixed farm in the south of Dorset and completed his Level 3 National Diploma in Agriculture at Kingston Maurwood College. He then spent several years gaining as much experience as he could: he travelled to New Zealand working on a 3000 sheep farm; milked in both New Zealand and on his family farm; completed 3 summer harvests for different contractors in the south of England and gained lambing experience on indoor and outdoor systems. Finally he worked for a fencing contractor in Dorset and learnt from the best before starting up his own fencing company. He now farms 250 acres in his own right, keeps sheep runs a successful tourism business with his wife Cristabel in addition to the fencing.

Sam’s wealth of experience in both agriculture and fencing makes him capable of tackling any job, his knowledge of soil types, ground conditions and livestock management is second to none, bringing invaluable all-round knowledge to fence erections.

We wouldn’t be without our dedicated and enthusiastic team members, Ashley and Danny, who work incredibly hard to maintain the high standards of Samuel Hole Fencing.
